A POLLUTION REDUCTION BILL?

More 'focus group' words in an attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of the American public. Are we really that dumb? I don't think so, but congress sure does.

Congress has obviously realized that "Cap & Trade" is not going over well with Americans, so how do they get the public on their side? Change the name so it sounds as though they really care. How does "Pollution Reduction and Investment" sound?

By Mark Hemingway September 29, 2009

Congressional Democrats are proposing a sweeping overhaul of the American health-care system, which represents about 17 percent of the U.S. economy. You might think they would feel a responsibility to explain the precise implications of this legislation to the American people before it comes to a vote.

But after one week of hearings… Continue

Polanski forgiven for rape by creative community?

Although film director Roman Polanski committed the crime of giving a controlled substance to a minor, committing a lewd or lascivious act upon a child under 14, unlawful sexual intercourse, rape, perversion and sodomy, in 1977, he only spent 42 days in jail.

Polanski was afraid the California judge would not honor a plea bargain deal struck with prosecuters, so he jumped bail and fled the country to Europe. The case has been in limbo since then. Now he is sitting a Swiss jail… Continue

WASHINGTON POLITICIANS' MOST TITANIC LIE

If we stop the deficit spending, we may be able to save Social Security and our economy. If the government would just lower spending, they wouldn't have to keep robbing from the Social Security Trust Fund.

Gay Rights and NAMBLA

When you hear of gay or homosexual rights or activists claiming there should be no discrimination against their hedonistic debauchery then think of about the four men busted recently for child pornography. These men were busted by the FBI for involvement in a pedophile ring. It has been insinuated NAMBLA which stands for North American Man/Boy… Continue

Don't tread on me: how 9/11 inspired two friends to start their patriotic flag company

Gadsden and Culpeper is "the Official 'Don't Tread on Me' Outfitter.

They've just started a company blog, and this week they asked me if they could link to my blog.

Of course, I said sure. So they will be linking to me shortly. But I didn't want to wait to return the favor, after I saw their cool site.

The Tea Party and "9/12" movements have repopularized the Gadsden "Don't Tread on Me" image, as well as Benjamin Franklin's "Join or Die" snake and the… Continue

H1N1 IN MY OWN HOUSE - Yep that's right the dreaded flu has hit home

H1N1 Pictures, Images and Photos

Okay so my 15 year old son James was tested for 'influenza A' today after the school nurse called and told me that he had a fever and a temperature of 102. Being the concerned mom I am I drove to pick him up and made an appointment with the doctor for a drop in appointment that minute. The nurse told me that I could not send my son back to school for the recommended 3-5 days and if a fever persisted he could… Continue
