Like an old shoe with holes in its soul [intended], Obama and his ilk have worn out the "Blame Bush" excuse. However, that will
not prevent him from using it again and again to preserve his ego. But, as Vice President Cheney said, Obama is “trying to pretend we are not at war” with terrorists, and that “[W]e
are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe”. This blame stuff is getting serious when it comes to the security of our…

We as a nation were founded as a Republic. When at the first Constitutional Convention, Ben Franklin was asked by a lady when he left one day as they disbanded, "What Government did you give us, Mr Franklin?" he famously replied "A Republic, Madam, if you can keep it!"
We are in grave danger of losing this, our Republic, as President Obama and Congress have been so emboldened now with their new-found power, that they are seizing large chunks of private wealth and property, in a…

Public opinion does not seem to rank very high these days in the minds of our elected officials -- that is until re-election time. Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska may rue the day he pimped himself out for a critical vote that passed the ram-down-government-run health care in the Senate.

I hate to say this out loud. Upon hearing Rush Limbaugh was in the hospital and his condition serious, I felt a nervous twinge in my stomach. Dare I say it, I thought, “Oh my gosh, what if Rush was gone”. I could not help but think of the shocking passing of Michael Jackson. The next morning, I timidly turned on my TV. “Praise God!”, Rush is resting comfortably.
I had the same fearful feeling in my stomach once before years ago. My wife passed out after dinner as we were…

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS. Getting ready for the New Year to rush in. Hope everyone has a safe and great New Year. Tonight as the clock strikes twelve raise a glass in solidarity to Take America From The Evil Doers. Below is a poem I wrote for the true Americans of this country. Some how it kinda fits what is happening to our country today. Picture yourself sitting and telling your children or grand children what America use to be like if we allow these evil doers to succeed. Of course that…

Dear TCU members,
I just started a cause to eliminate wasteful spending in my home town.
Please do me the favor and click on the link below and read the tab labeled "cause".
Please join and recruit as many members for me as you can. Hopefully this
will sow seeds in other localities. If we choke the spending we will stop the liberals
dead in their tracks. I am also hoping that this will lead to recruitment on TCU.
We have also stated aground…

Newt Gingrich takes a surprising stand about al-Qaeda Islamic terrorist Abdulmutallab and Homeland Security. I found it surprising because the title of his article is supremely politically incorrect: On Terrorism it's Time to Know, to Profile, and to… Continue

Unrest in Iran: The Vindication of George W. Bush
Larry Elder
Thursday, December 31, 2009
Did Saddam Hussein's fall and the formation of a fledging democracy in Iraq encourage and embolden regime-threatening dissent in Iran?
The anti-Iraq War crowd, many of whom suffer from Give-George-W.-Bush-No Credit-for-Anything Disease, says, "No, of course not." How dare anyone even suggest that the former President was correct, if not about the rightfulness of the war…

2009 Chickens and their 2010 Roost
Victor Davis Hanson
Thursday, December 31, 2009
In the coming year, plenty of our chickens will be coming home to roost.
Take foreign relations. In 2009, the new administration assumed that George W. Bush was largely responsible for global tensions. As a remedy, we loudly reached out to our foes and those with whom we had uneasy relationships.
But so far these leaders -- like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez…

Our Year of Obama
Obama is in a great race: Can he remake America before the next elections?
By Victor Davis Hanson December 30, 2009
America is at a day of reckoning that it never quite expected to face.
Not long ago, tired of eight years of Republican rule, terrified by the September 2008 financial panic, unimpressed by the campaign of John McCain, and mesmerized by the hope-and-change elixirs and landmark candidacy of Barack Obama, the American…

The Hijacking of Primary Elections
I used to say that if you wait until the General Election in November, you are too late. The real contest is in the Primary, where the political parties, which are similar to private clubs, elect their candidates. Now I am going to assert that if you wait until the Primary Election, you may be too late already.
The Primary Election is where the party voters select their candidates by secret ballot. That’s democracy, right? Well, it would…
