A Rookie President
Thomas Sowell
Tuesday, March 31, 2009
Someone once said that, for every rookie you have on your starting team in the National Football League, you will lose a game. Somewhere, at some time during the season, a rookie will make a mistake that will cost you a game.
We now have a rookie President of the United States and, in the dangerous world we live in, with terrorist nations going nuclear, just one rookie mistake can bring disaster down… Continue
Outlier Zogby Poll Reveals Hard Truths
Donald Lambro
Tuesday, March 31, 2009
WASHINGTON -- Most media polls are showing President Obama's job approval in the 59 percent to mid-60 percent range, but not pollster John Zogby, who says Obama's rating has dipped below 50 percent.
Contrary to many of the other major presidential surveys such as the venerable Gallup Poll, which puts Obama's number at around 60 percent or higher, Zogby's poll (mid-March) showed that Obama's… Continue
This is a long read but it is a chronological track of where he came from and who helped him along the way and to whom he owes his allegiance. It names names and organizations and their goals and methods. Somewhere in here we may find a way to defeat this very street smart Chicago thug politician.

Perils of a public health plan
by Stuart M. Butler, Ph.D.
March 27, 2009
There is a lot wrong with America's health system. People can lose their coverage if they switch jobs. Working families beset with chronic medical problems may be unable to get affordable coverage.
There is broad agreement - spanning both the liberal and conservative policy camps - on the need to fix these problems. But there's much disagreement on how to go about it. One… Continue
Drudge reports that Obama stands by his plan to make Afghanistan a priority in the “War of Terror.” (Yes I used the term and will continue to do so.) Biden has a different idea on how to fight Terrorism (not man-made disasters.) He thinks that using "lowest common denominator approach” is the best strategy in the "Overseas Contingency… Continue

President Obama lacks a victory strategy against Islamic fascism, and he is showing weakness before such adversaries as Iran, Russia, and China. The Iranian dictatorship is on a war drive, actively seeking nuclear weapons and making it clear they have a stake in defeating and weakening the United States.
I’m for a victory strategy in the war against terrorism. That includes blocking the militaristic aims of the Islamic dictatorship, preventing the ayatollahs from obtaining nuclear…Continue
I'd actually be all for eliminating the charitable tax deduction as part of a broader tax simplification, but Obama is pulling it out of thin air when he says that there's no reason to believe eliminating the deduction would affect charitable giving, as charities fear. The real debate is over whether the federal government should use the tax code as a way to manipulate social behavior as opposed to merely to… Continue
We the F.R.A.C.'n People of the United States of America, in order to restore a more perfect union, come together this day to declare our solidarity and sovereignty as a free people and nation, under the rule and authority of Almighty God, divisible if we allow it to be, with liberty for none if we choose to remain apathetic or huddle alone in fear.
It is time to take action in unison and in mass! There are many in our nation who are frustrated with our bloated and corrupt… Continue

We heard President Obama last night. The supposedly intelligent, articulate, cool, sophisticated, sensitive Obama let slip his true feelings to Jay Leno's teleprompter and an audience of millions last night. Meanwhile, while the liberal elite media loves and covers for Obama, recall how they slammed Sarah Palin as an inarticulate, uncouth, vulgar, uncultured hick. Judge for yourself - here's Sarah Palin speaking from both the heart and the mind… Continue
A $14 trillion economy hangs by a thread composed of (A) a comically cynical, pitchfork-wielding Congress, (B) a hopelessly understaffed, stumbling Obama administration, and (C) $165 million.
That's $165 million in bonus money handed out to AIG… Continue

Ok...I am with you regarding the outrage over the bonusses given to AIG executives more than once. Senator Shumer, President Obama and others were quick to make a camera appearance to decry the AIG bonusses. In fact, Shumer said he would introduce legislation to grossly tax those bonusses. Aha! Now we're getting down to it! This may be part of the added opportunity to "change" American society like never before that Whitehouse Chief of Staff Rahm… Continue
Obama's 'Science' Fiction
By Charles Krauthammer

Last week, the White House invited me to a signing ceremony overturning the Bush (43) executive order on stem cell research. I assume this was because I have long argued in these columns and during my five years on the President's Council on Bioethics that, contrary to the Bush policy, federal funding should be extended to research on embryonic stem cell lines derived from discarded embryos in… Continue

When the extortion and vote fraud conglomerate ACORN isn't staging sit-ins to pressure banks to lend to high-risk borrowers, busing schoolchildren to the nation's capital to protest proposed tax cuts, campaigning for big government policies, or raising the dead from battleground-state cemeteries and leading them to the voting booth, it is at war with itself.
Months after the radical left-wing group… Continue
Criticism Shows Obama Is Losing Focus
Michael Barone
Saturday, March 14, 2009
We've been hearing a lot of criticism of Barack Obama in recent days from pro-Obama corners -- from celebrity investor Warren Buffett, from moderate conservative columnist David Brooks, from one of the Democratic Party's deepest thinkers, William Galston -- all along the same lines. Put aside your plans, announced in your budget, for national health insurance, for a cap-and-trade system to… Continue
