back from a brief hiatus bringing to you news carey style

Cain couldn't remember the women who accused him, Perry couldn't remember the departments he would cut and the rest of us just wish we couldn't remember what we been seeing. I think we are all debated out.

Even though Gingrich was excited for the last debate on foreign affairs and said I look forward to this debate after all I am an expert on affairs.

Jon Huntsman released his secret weapon, his three daughters. Not to be out done Mitt Romney released his, Donny and…

America News and Views news letter - FURTHERMORE

Host Bob Murphy and Carey Masci were joined by US Senate Candidate Rusty Bliss and former State Rep Candidate Mike Gutierrez

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a full house in the booth as we had the pleasure of Mike Gutierrez dropping by. Mike is back from a short exodus to California. He is one of the most gifted speakers I know, just a natural. Mike gave us info on SB5 and the mess California is in.
And Rusty Bliss… Continue
Why The Democrats Should Fear the Tea Party (and it's not what you think)
by: Trent Derr - American Exceptionalism
You can tell that someone feels threatened by you when they publicly degrade and poke fun at you.    Given that standard, the Tea Party has been under the skin of Democrats from the day that it sprung to life a little more than 2 years ago.  As recent as the current budget battle, Harry Reid blames the Tea Party for not allowing…
Obamacare – 8 Metrics They Don’t Want You to Know
by: Trent Derr - American Exceptionalism
When you examine Obamacare in detail, you find that the facts of the legislation contradict most of the selling points that the Liberals used as their basis for voting for the bill.
WHAT DOES ABORTION HAVE TO DO WITH THE ECONOMY?
Rachel Maddow. If you want to understand the Liberal sides view you need to watch this woman. She is something else.
Rachel did raise an interesting question on her show Tuesday. She was complaining about how the Republicans got elected to fix the economy but instead they are wasting our time with pro-life legislation. What does this have to do with the economy?
Trying to stay on topic here but quickly, saying that statement the Republicans were elected to fix the economy… Continue
Selling Lies – The Formula the Left Uses To Take Away Your Rights
by: Trent Derr - American Exceptionalism
As part of their dogma, the Left believes society only operates “fairly” when more power is concentrated in the Federal Government and fewer rights are exercised independently by individuals. In their view, one of the major purposes of the Government is to equalize outcomes across society (try to find…
3 Economic Policies Reagan Had Right (And Obama Never Learned)
by: Trent Derr - American Exceptionalism Blog
President Reagan is probably best known for three major accomplishments: rekindling the American spirit of entrepreneurship, defeating the Soviets in the Cold War leading to the eventual collapse of the USSR, and creating the most robust peacetime economic expansion in American history. In this posting, we’ll…
Barry Deceives Liberty – How Would You Respond to a Progressive?
by: Trent Derr - American Exceptionalism Blog
My wife was seated in the airport waiting to catch her flight back home. So far so good. She was already past security waiting in the gate area. As usual, she was reading a book trying to pass the minutes until it was time to board. My wife can be as entertained by people watching as anyone. However if she…
Cooter's Fired Up and Other Reasons Why the Democrats are in Trouble in 2012
by: Trent Derr - Morning in America
The other day on a Southwest Airlines flight back to Houston, I saw him, Cooter. He was one big dude, and he was making his way down the aisle of the plane carrying his duffel bag and his hardhat. As usual, his hardhat was decorated with stickers from most of the…
WWRD? Part 2 – What would Reagan do about immigration?
by: Trent Derr - Morning in America
As a continuing part of our series What Would Reagan Do, we’re going to discuss what Reagan would do to address our current immigration problems. Clearly Reagan would have been shocked by our current situation related to rampant illegal immigration, the violence across our southern border in…
WWRD? (What Would Reagan Do) - How would Ronald Reagan address the challenges we have today?
by: Trent Derr - Morning in America
Are you better off than you were two years ago? For most people, the answer is no. Compared to two years ago, more people are unemployed, the credit markets are still a mess, businesses are still being stymied by further federal regulation, and the global community has no idea what we stand for with our…
A look back at an article I wrote from 2006
The House voted to raise the minimum wage to $7.25 per hour in the next 3 years but the Senate rejected it. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.
Before you get upset let me explain it this way.... What are You willing to pay for a burger at your favorite fast food establishment? $3, $4, $5, $6 or more? IF the minimum wage gets raised so will EVERYTHING else!!
Its dumb for me to even have to explain this but minimum wage will never over take the higher paying jobs!
Sarah Palin America By Heart
We are reviewing Sarah Palin's book American by Heart and she writes about Arizona's "immigration law..." "...Arizona recently passed a law that allows state law enforcement officers to question suspected lawbreakers about their immigration status. Love the law or hate the law, you couldn't help but notice that the reception it received from it's critics seemed to designed not just to discredit the statute,…
Tea Party to be out foxed by GOP elites
As newly elected Tea Party members arrive in the domain of the Political Elites in Washington, are they prepared to be "handled" so that the Old Guard retains power? Will they be thrown a bone now and
then, here and there, to placate them or will they remember why they
were elected and fight back?
Back on April 15, 2010, Tea Party supporters gathered in Washington
when they produced the "Contract for America" that was based on the
principals of individual liberty,… Continue
