Back in the day, the media was our watchdog. It kept all phases of government honest, and hence was under constant scrutiny and intimidation. Freedom of the press has been hard fought down through our history, and a welcome sight at our door each morning.

Anybody need more proof what a disgrace the media is? Last week had some pretty historic events revealed by good old fashioned investigative reporting -- Van Jones and ACORN's child prostitution scandal. They completely ignored the 9-12 March on DC, and to their peril.
