Corruption American Style

Corruption American Style                                                                                                      When I went to the Philippines I was greeted in more than one place like this... OH you an American, America much wealth here so much corruption. And I thought to myself in more than one place - If they only knew that I live next to Cuyahoga County one of the most corrupt counties in America.

Word on the…

Flag this messageThe day I held the meet n greet was a gift....

Friends,

How exciting! I told the Lake County GOP, at least a year ago, the key to this election is not what is going on in Washington as much as what is going on in our neighboring county Cuyahoga. They have run that county so far into the ground they are now discussing regionalism which is nothing more than the Socialist policy of spreading the wealth or in better terms spreading the debt and corruption.
The day I held a meet and greet, Sept. 16, for Bob Murphy, candidate…

Gulf Oil Outrage! Mad at the Media for Massive MalpracticeShare

Today, June 4, 2010, one of Politico’s headlines read, “terribly sad photos of sick animals in the Gulf emerged yesterday.” YESTERDAY? What took so long? It’s been 47 days! Politico ran samples of newspaper front pages from around the country. Posting a comment on that page, ‘Concerned in Tennessee’ writes, “Thank God the tragedy of this is finally coming to the front pages. It is heart-breaking beyond belief. Where are the protests?? Where are the Hollywood elite?…

We're Forgetting Part of the Argument; This is America.

O beautiful for spacious skies,

For amber waves of grain,

For purple mountain majesties

Above the fruited plain!

America! America!

God shed his grace on thee

And crown thy good with brotherhood

From sea to shining sea!

I'm concerned about the slant in the news today and am so tired of the liberal media bias and corruption. Are we losing our perspective? Why are we not securing the borders? Exactly what IS the job of the National Guard? We've… Continue

No Opinions; Just Politics

There's way too much going on in our country right now and there’s lots of great commentary, so I'm not going to add many opinions here. Just the facts, Mam. The funny thing is that I’m here working in Chicago again and I feel like writing, but don’t have the time to elaborate on what others have said so clearly.

More Media Malpractice: During a report on the Tea Party movement, CNN put “INCITING VIOLENCE?” on the screen under video of Sarah Palin while a panel eagerly agreed that the… Continue

The smell coming out of the White House

Anyone familiar with Chicago knows that there are things that cling to those who move into a new environment. It is hard for politicians to get rid of the smell of corruption and the old stock yards. These days no matter what kind of air freshener is used to cover it up in Washington, the reek emanating from the White House permeates everything around it including the Democrat controlled House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.…

Scott Brown still fighting against Obamacare

Although Obamacare was pushed through by the Democrats, Senator Scott Brown continues to work against it in what he describes as a "broken Washington." In an article published on March 30, 2010, he says that everywhere he goes, people ask what can be done about getting rid of the bill that was passed which had no Republican votes.…

Chicago Politics are Here, But November is Coming

Are you tired of hearing about corruption or do you just ignore it? It’s like we’re in denial or something. Ironically, I'm literally sitting here at a hotel in Chicago as I write this. It was just a matter of time before we’d hear some behind the scenes details about intimidation from the new kids in the White House. In an interview earlier this week, Democratic Congressman Eric Massa talked about his first experience with Chicago politics saying, “I was in the congressional gym, and I…

Obama Declares: "Welcome to The USSA - Union of Soviet Socialist Amerika's

1.8 trillion $ - TRILLION! That's the amount the CCCP, er, democrats, propose to raise the federal debt limit by this week. A little perspective: This amount would dwarf the combined debt limit increases passed by all congresses over the entire 250 years of our republic combined.

'THEY LIVE'...In D.C.

Shocking similarities to John Carpenter's horror flick "They Live" and events occurring today raise the question; "Liberal or Alien"?

The following is an excerpt from Columnist Mike Baxter's piece examining this issue in today's The Cypress Times.

In Carpenter’s tale, the downturn of America’s working class is the result of a well planned strategy created by an invading skull-faced civilization from… Continue

All the President's Olympic Cronies

by Michelle Malkin

When government officials play the Olympic lottery, taxpayers lose. That has been the disastrous experience of host cities around the world. (Forbes magazine even dubbed the post-Olympic financial burden the "Host City Curse.") So, why are President Obama and his White House entourage headed to Copenhagen, Denmark, this week to push a fiscally doomed Chicago 2016… Continue

ACORN tired to questionable Brooklyn land grab?

ACORN is being tied more closely to Bruce Ratner and the Atlantic Yards development in Brooklyn, New York which is being subsidized with $1.6 billion of taxpayers money. The public-financed redevelopment plan relies extensively on eminent domain. This would leave many long-time business owners and residents being ejected.

Occupants of Atlantic Yards protests have been going on since they learned that the buildings in the area would be torn down.
