What was once looked at as a charming Hispanic heritage has became a battle ground between some Mexican-Americans and political groups in a Sun Belt city in Arizona. As that ethnic population has increased, the undercurrent divisions in Tucson have surfaced and grown. Recent elections have done little to calm the environment.
