As I write this article, I just got off a conference call with Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (5th CD), Congressman Doc Hastings (4th CD), and Congressman Dave Reichert (8th CD). Barack Obama won the 2008 popular vote by a margin of 53% to 46% over Senator John McCain. I have maintained that Obama won primarily because he lied better than McCain told the truth.
