Obama Takes a Stand on Libya - Kinda

Obama has finally taken a stand on the ongoing carnage in Libya. After nine days of silence, he has finally, and forcefully, condemned the "outrageous" crackdown by Libyan security forces on protesters. He also said that a unified international response was forming. Whew.
Translation: America will stand…

News Flash: Obama (Almost) Saves The World

According to media reports, President Obama (almost) resolved the spiraling Egyptian crisis in one "private message" to Hosni Mubarak. "Mubarak Promise Comes After Private Obama Message" AP reports.

President Obama is firmly in charge and appears to finally be calling the shots. In a bold, presidential moment, Obama said Tuesday evening that he has told Mubarak that a transition to…

China's Dead Babies

America is shocked, shocked! Kermit Gosnell, a 69 year old abortion doctor, was arrested last week, charged with killing seven babies and causing the death of a woman during a botched abortion. An illegal, late-term abortion. Prosecutors are accusing Gosnell of using scissors to snip the spinal cords of 7 babies who were inconveniently born…

Rahm Emanuel: The Fix Is In

I'm going to go out on a limb and make a public prediction. Rahm Emanuel will be Chicago's next mayor.
How do I know this? I'm not an expert, political heavyweight or a Chicago insider. I know Rahm will soon be called "His Honor" because I have something all the experts and political pundits are lacking: common sense and an ability

to connect the dots.

Rahm Emanuel is the quintessential…

Straight Pride

As more and more Americans identify themselves through their sexual orientation, I'd like to weigh in on the side of heterosexuality. There, I said it. I'm straight. Sexually speaking, this means that I don't sleep with members of my own sex.

Of course, who I sleep with is no-one's business. Unless I'm a health hazard or something. And of course, what I do in my own bedroom used to be confined to my bedroom. Key word being "used to."

Call me an old fuddy duddy, but I just… Continue

Muslim Cartoon Day

In response to the blatant kowtowing of the Washington Post and other liberal newspapers to the delicate sensitivities of radical Islamists, RightBias has decided to celebrate our own Muslim Cartoon Day.

To any terrorists that may be offended, we say: Just because you can intimidate our president and media elites, you should know that the majority of Americans are not willing to shape our culture to your specifications. If you don't have a sense of humor, tough luck.…

Obama is not telling the truth

Obama is increasingly resembling the errant husband, who, when caught in bed with another woman by his wife blandly asserts, "What woman? Who are you going to believe - me or the evidence of your own eyes?"

Obama is asking Americans to ignore the evidence of their own eyes and believe him. After all, he is the President of the United States, which implies honor, integrity, and character. Or used to.

Calling the president a liar is a serious charge. But either Obama is… Continue

Murrells Inlet - God's Little Secret

Fifteen miles south of America's most popular golfing destination is a little village time seems to have forgotten. Murrells Inlet. Where people are the way they're supposed to be.

I relocated to Murrells Inlet seven years ago from Los Angeles. I was looking for peace, contentment and a place where the government doesn't tell me what to eat, what to think and what to do. I found it here in this beautiful little fishing village in South Carolina.

Murrells Inlet is located… Continue

A poll from fly-over country

Politicians increasingly rely on polls to indicate which positions they should take, which buzz words to use, and which segments of the population to target. With this in mind, I decided to conduct my very own poll here in Murrells Inlet, S.C.

Granted, I'm I'm no expert. But then again, these days the majority of "experts" seem to be consistently wrong on the issues that affect us here at the local level.

For clarity's sake, I define flyover country as including the… Continue

Heterosexual pride month

This article was first published June 4, 2009.

President Obama has again proclaimed June 2010 as a month to actively celebrate the gay lifestyle.

Obama came through on his campaign theme of 'equality' Monday by proclaiming June as "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month". Obama lauded what he calls "the determination and dedication" of the LGBT movement.

In the same spirit of equality, I'd like to propose July to be designated as Heterosexual Pride Month… Continue

You can't make this stuff up!

As Congress labored furiously to ensure that women have equal access to federal bathrooms, insurgents in Afghanistan this month launched a series of bold strikes on U.S. and NATO bases in Afghanistan. The Potty Parity Act is proceeding apace.

The Obama administration's response to the upsurge in violence in Afghanistan? They launched an investigation into allegations that a number of American soldiers were responsible for the "unlawful deaths" of at least three Afghan civilians.… Continue

Doing D.C.

If you're one of the unfortunate Americans that live in fly-over country, I have bad news for you. Our nation's capitol is now pretty much off-limits to you.

Last week I had business in Washington, D.C. and planned a few extra days to re-acquaint myself with our nation's history. It turned out to be the week from hell.

My first mistake was driving my SUV. The beltway encircling D.C. resembles a scene from Dante's Inferno. Fellow drivers inside the beltway were just plain… Continue

For your own good

Since I've been otherwise occupied making a living, it's reassuring to know that my government is looking out for me. In just the last month, our tireless public servants have proposed numerous measures that will make my life better and more worry free.

No longer will I have to worry about drug addicts being able to rig a urine test. The Senate is set to vote on a measure that would make it illegal to sell fake urine for the purpose of falsifying a drug test. Whew.

While… Continue

The life of a leftist

After much consideration, I have decided to become a leftist. Here's why:

As a leftist, I have a right to a living wage. I was born with this right and under the system of social justice Obama and friends are implementing, rich fat cats are under an obligation to pay for my rights.

As a leftist, I also have a right to free health care, a roof over my head, and food on my table. And as long as I keep voting for Democrats, this right will be protected and, hopefully… Continue

I Was A 'Useful Idiot'

For the first 39 years of my life, I was a walking, talking useful idiot. I believed without question what I saw on TV, and adopted as fact whatever I saw in the newspaper headlines.

Armed with this information, I figured I knew it all. There were no questions I couldn't answer and no opinions I wouldn't espouse. Especially when they were formed by others.

In my younger days, I still had respect for authority and institutions. I believed the 'experts.' I took their… Continue

White Racism

Although I didn't vote for Barack Obama, I welcomed the election of a black man to America's highest office. I assumed his election signaled that white America had finally atoned for the sin of slavery. I assumed that Martin Luther King's dream of judging a man by the content of his character instead of the color of his skin had become a reality.

No more would I have to spend my life proving a negative, as in 'I am not a racist.' No more would I have to automatically lower my voice… Continue

Hey Obama - You're Not My Daddy

When I left home at age 18, I breathed a sigh of relief. Free at last. I was legally of an age where I assumed the right to make my own decisions. No longer could my mother tell me to eat my vegetables, to quit smoking, to clean my room or to modify my behavior to someone else's standards. Heady stuff.

As I threw off the shackles of parental supervision, I willingly assumed the responsibilities of a grown-up. I got a job, I paid my bills, I planned for the future. I worked hard and… Continue

Color Me Happy

I'm smiling. A grin that just won't quit is plastered on my face because of the stunning upset last night when a, gasp, Republican won the bluest of all Senate seats, thus throwing sand in the gears of the Obama machine's march towards socialism.

Republican Scott Brown whipping the pants off Coakley last night is cause for rejoice. As is the delicious schadenfreude of seeing the left in disarray, pointing fingers and laying blame for the historic repudiation of leftists, Obama and… Continue

How To Become A Citizen Of The World

In the summer of 2008, then presidential candidate Barack Obama delivered a historic campaign speech in Germany. With the Berlin Wall as a back drop, Obama proudly informed the masses that he was not there as a candidate, but as "...a fellow citizen of the world."

The crowd went crazy and the world rejoiced. Finally, the United States was ready to join the community of man.

In what former U.S. ambassador to the UN John Bolton calls our first post-American President, Obama… Continue
