Low stocks of corn may have created a bidder war in the United States for what is available and will get even worse if China jumps into the market to purchase corn stored from the 2010 harvest.

Tucson Arizona Businesses Hiring Illegal Immigrants Ruling
On May 26, 2011 the Supreme Court of the United States sustained the law that penalizes businesses for hiring illegal immigrants. In a ruling that will affect Tucson as well as the State of Arizona, the Court rejected the arguments that states have no role in immigration matters.
This means that the state has the authority to impose sanctions on employers who hire unauthorized workers.
