When Obama appointed Cass Sustein to be in his Shadow Government to control the White House Office of Information, was it one more step in his effort to close down free speech on the Internet?

Government control of private Internet next?

While Americans are under the illusion that the government cannot take away their right to use the Internet, an effort by Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-VA) is underway that appears to permit President Obama to seize control of the private-sector during whatever he deems to be a cybersecurity emergency

Free speech still matters to Americans

Apparently there are still some Americans who believe in First Amendment Rights and are taking action against the Obama administration for violating the right to free speech with no interference from the government.



It may take a lawsuit to make the White House realize that not only are there "Watchdogs" scrutinizing their every attempt to circumvent the Constitution and Bill of Rights, they are also willing to challenge Obama in a court of law.…

Obama challenged by Russian Prime Minister again?

When Russian Prime Minister Viadimir Putin crossed into Georgia without permission on August 13,2009. it was one more action to test the strength of President Barack Obama. The last time Putin did something like this was when he traveled to South Ossetia, just days after Obama spoke in Moscow.

Irony in Sen. Kennedy successor wishes?

Just before his death Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass) asked the Massachusetts governor and lawmakers to change the law back to what it once was so that an interim replacement could be appointed as a replacement for his seat in the Senate if he was unable to continue serving.

The law was changed in 2004. At that time, Massachusetts had a Republican governor, Mitt Romney, who would have had the right appoint a replacement to serve an interim appointment when a vacancy occurred.

Libyan terrorist release a slap in Obama's face?

As the terrorist Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, who was convicted of aiding in the deaths of the 297 men women and children on a Pan Am Boeing 747, including 189 Americans, was greeted in Libya as a hero, it became obvious of how little respect Scotland and England have for President Obama and the United States.

Obama pulling Democrats down slippery slope with him?

As Obama's approval ratings drop and disapproval numbers increase, there are signs that he is pulling Democrats down into the chasm with him. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows tht 43% of likely voters would vote for their district's Republican congressional candidate while 38% polled would chose the Democrat.

ObamaAmerica and Democrats to create more protest among elderly

The elder Americans who have been active in the protests at the Town Halls may have another reason to feel uneasy about ObamaAmerica. It could become another rallying point to oust Democrats in the coming 2010 elections and even carry over to 2012.



For the first time since 1975, elderly Americans will not receive a cost of living adjustment (COLA) for the next two years. Meanwhile Medicare premiums are scheduled to rise.

Obama heading for a Lyndon Johnson type failed presidency?

As the United States goes deeper into debt, the question has begun to arise about whether Obama will be a failed, one-time president. With spending that is projected to reach deficits of $1.8 trillion this year and $1.3 next year, the debt is expected to spiral to $10 trillion over the next decade.

White House fishy e-mails to be investigated?

Rep. Darrell Issa, Republican of California has sent a letter to White House Counsel Gregory B. Craig, asking for more information into their effort to collect information about the opponents of Obama's health care reform by gathering what they were saying or writing.



It brings to mind the image of the "enemies list" that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

Obama Cap and Trade lays more debt taxes on Americans

As the American public scrutinizes the various bills passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, the first to create a thunderous backlash was against Obama's Health Care Reform, especially the Public Option.



The climate bill, Cap and Trade, may be the next one as questions arise as to how much more debt will be incurred in funding government agencies over seeing it. And what will it cost the ordinary citizen in increased taxes.

Palin gives Democrats health care public option more scrutiny

Although Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said on Sunday, August 16, 2009 that the Democrats public option is "not an essential element" of Obama's health care overhaul, Sarah Palin will keep attacking the provision until it is officially dropped.

Obama health advisor Emanuel Complete Lives System questioned

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of the chief of staff and a key advisor to President Obama is the author of the "Complete Lives System" which has become an issue in the discussion of the Democrats' health care reform. It has been interpreted as refusing to allocate medical resources to the elderly, the infirm, and the disabled.

Palin outsmarts media on ObamaCare provisions

While the White House and health care reform advocates are spending millions of dollars trying to sell ObamaCare to the public, all Sarah Palin had to do was publish five paragraphs on her Facebook page to get all kinds of media attention. The result was that the public became even more alarmed about the "end of life" provision in the proposed HR 3200.

Democrats wild $1.3 trillion deficit waking up Americans?

The Democrats in Congress are beginning to look like college freshmen with their first credit card. Now, like an observant parent, the American public is saying "enough already " as reflected in a Rasmussen poll survey of likely voters. It found that 71 percent believe that it is Obama's policies that are responsible for the trillion dollar deficit. And as evidenced by the recent Town Hall outpouring, they are not happy about it.

Obama claim of AARP endorsement rebuked honestly?

The American public will have to decided for themselves who is telling the truth---President Obama or the spokesman for the AARP.

After Obama said that the AARP had endorsed the Democrats health care reform (ObamaCare), the chief operating officers, Tom Nelson denied it.
