Sen. Cornyn Questions Search for "Fishy" Information on Healthcare

The White House has asked the public to send the personal emails and conversations of others about the healthcare bills that seems "fishy" to a government email address specifically set up to take in healthcare questions and support the President's approach. Sen. Cornyn has challenged the President and sent a letter to him saying so. As Sen. Cornyn points out in his letter, there is no "...precedent for a president asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed 'fishy' or otherwise inimical to the White House's political interests." Cornyn also wondered if the administration would notify those reported for "fishy" speech, what the government would do with their information, and if Obama's own words, such as a speech in 2003 when he advocated a single-payer (government-run) healthcare system, qualify as "fishy" information. Click here for letter. This White House request may actually be illegal, since it is not legal to collect the private information of citizens, except as authorized under a specific statute. Thank Sen. Cornyn for standing up for all citizens and their First Amendment rights! This kind of leadership and standing for the citizens is rare and very important. Click Here to thank Sen. Cornyn now!

Dear Senator Cornyn,

We as sovereign citizens appreciate your efforts to stand up to current tyranny and inimical conduct from elected officials in our government from the highest paid positions. What we see going on vis-a-vis the salient violations of our rights on a daily basis has gotten out of hand, and we support such courageous responses as your recent letter to President Obama calling him out on the "fishy" email snitch program, which, by the way was denied by President elect Obama and W.H. Press Secretary Gibbs in recent press conferences.

The level of mendacity and duplicity from these hypocrites in the executive branch of our government is blatant, obvious and unacceptable. We're extremely unhappy with current trends, the status quo, and we're not going to take it anymore.

Thank you, Sen. Cornyn for standing up for all citizens and their First Amendment rights! This kind of leadership and standing for the citizens is rare, sincerely appreciated, and very important to take back our nation from the “thug-ocracy” which has put our nation on a fast track to destruction. We stand behind you 100% and with others in these acts of courage.

Blessings to you and yours as we seek a peaceful return to organic constitutional principles, honoring and protecting the sovereign rights of all Americans by saying no to this tyranny.

Respectfully,

Robert Butler
