social network for conservatives
Cries from the left are constantly whining about the clause in the United States Constitution that states that there should be separation of church and state. (You know, the clause that you can't find in the Constitution no matter how many times you look.) Regardless of what these Godless people think, the Lord has called upon his servants to step up and speak His Word regarding the selection of leaders in this country. It is critical that our pastors do this, because according to Dr. James B. Richards in a press release for his free e- book America's Greatest Threat posted at ChristianNewsWire.com wrote:
"According to a recent article, Barack Obama won the 2008 presidential election by 10 million votes. According to the same article 30 million evangelical Christians did not vote in that election. We could have been the deciding factor but we weren't! We stood on the sidelines! If we do that again, we will lose our country and our freedoms."
It is not proper for pastors to tell their congregations to whom they should cast their vote. However, it is imperative that pertinent issues such as abortion and the teaching of immoral values in public schools are addressed. If a particular candidate endorses such acts that are repulsive and abhorrent to God as so pointed out in the Holy Bible, then it is the duty of the pastor to address the acts. “God’s Word is against homosexuality and abortion. You know the party that is for those things, therefore you cannot support them,” said John Hagee, pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. There are sufficient avenues for members of the congregation to educate themselves about the issues. Hopefully, they have developed enough of a moral compass that they know they won't educate themselves about the issues by watching MSNBC.
The Rev. Tony Evans, who leads the 8,000-member Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas and is president of The Urban Alternative, according to an Associated Press article posted at OneNewsNow.com, said if he could have asked President Barack Obama one question at last night's Presidential debate with Mitt Romney, he would have asked the President how he can support "gay marriage" in light of his Christian faith? He also said If he could ask Mitt Romney a question at last night's debate, he would have asked whether the GOP nominee's current positions on issues will change, as they have in the past. "I want to have confidence that where he stands is where he stands - and it's not just where he stands today," added Evans. This is in line with comments made by Pastor Evans at High Point Church in Arlington, Texas on July 27th at the

Under God Indivisible, event which was organized by LIFE Outreach International President James Robison, and President and founder of national pro-family organization WallBuilders David Barton, and was closely coordinated with Glenn Beck, and FreedomWorks. Evans also reinforced the point that we should follow God's way and not the way of a particular party by using a story about Humpty Dumpty. He made an analogy between the democrats' and republicans' constant bickering among each other and that of opposing NFL teams and the striped officials on the field. He said that the Bible is the official word from God and that we should be on the side of THE LORD instead of taking the side of the democrats or republicans in their political battles. In that same vein of thought, Reverend Samuel Rodriguez continued to emphasize the same point with his "Agenda of the Lamb" mini-sermon. He emphasized that we must not follow the agenda of the donkey, nor the agenda of

of the elephant, but the agenda of the Lamb. If our nation is to be restored toward the will of the Lord, we must do this on election day, and every other day of our lives. As Tony Evans said, "We shouldn't worry about who is in the White House as much as we should be worrying about who is in OUR HOUSE. If Jesus Christ is present in each of our houses, this country will change, and it will be sent racing into the greatest revival in the history of the world. Hopefully, Sunday October 7, will be a day pleasing to the Lord as more than 1,500 ministers plan to address politics during their services. Also, believers will be continuing in being faithful to God's will by standing against abortion nationwide on Sunday, October 7th. Over 1500 cities and towns in the United States and Canada will
participate in the National Life Chain, according to ChristianNewswire.com. In California, one rally will be held at the corner of Harbor and Lincoln in Anaheim, CA.
