Here is a modern parable for all to meditate on as forwarded by a friend. Yeah I know it’s a chain email; nonetheless well worth dwelling on.

Absolutely Brilliant!!
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: - Knowing when to come in out of the rain; - Why the early bird gets the worm; - Life isn't always fair; - And maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was preceded in death: by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife - Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son - Reason.
He is survived by his 5 stepbrothers: - I Know My Rights - I Want It Now - Someone Else Is To Blame - I'm A Victim - Pay me for Doing Nothing
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

The canadicy on both sides spends over one hundred million, most that has been donated from big companys. If a few companys can donate that much one of two things are wrong, they are charging to much for whatever they do or, are going to. I bought some cable to put on a winch the man I bought it from ask if I wanted the U.S. made or China or somewhere made I ask what is the difference? He said little over a dollar per foot. Now if these copanys can import cable cheeper than we can make it less than 150 miles from where I bought it from something is verry wrong. The checks and balances and/or the import/export taxes are out of balance, that needs to be adressed. When congress pass bills, they always tack on something to a bill that is sure to pass. Every time those little laws are passed you and me lose some of our rights, that is why they add them on to something else, they probaly would not pass on their own. Kind of like making a deal. A lot of those laws/bills are because of the "donations" from those big companys. That is how the checks and balances have gotten out of balance. They claim it is just faster to do this, now how much do we pay them to do a job? I don't care how little a law/bill is, one at a time only. If they are that lazy we Damd dont need them in office. Remember Obamma's birth certificate? has anything been changed so anyone must prove they are native born in the U.S. BEFORE he can apply for the job? The plan? WOW everything that the goverment has touched needs to be looked over. Medicare,... KEEP YOUR STICKEY FINGERS OUT OF IT. use it for what it is intended for ONLY. Anything else is steeling, and that should be enough to boot them out. They are not going to pay it back, and it is why medicare is in the shape it's in, in the first place. You know... we work for a living, I do, I don't run my mouth for a living, Do you think it is right for them to steel from us what we have payed in all these years? Immagration, edjucation, everything goverment has anything to do with, It is a good thing I can't run for president, I would be like a bull in a china shope, or dead in a verry short time.

I WILL not place blame on left right middle top or bottom in this issue. Only the ones that influnces that has an effect on the U.S. congress. That is the right influences were not enough, and the wrong influences were to much/many. You can argue WE were the ones who voted the elected officals in, those ones probally voted in for honarable reasons, [mostly] and they knew it. It is strange the ones that are apponited at how much power they and the one that appointed has. Some, most those apponited should be elected. As I see it we must change the structure of this goverment, And end lobbying forever, and those companys "donating to the canadicy public and private". forever.... to keep things honest.

You would have in include on your slate the Leftist influence that has allowed moral standards to diminish especially since the 1960s. Wipe those Leftist moral standards from the slate then the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Bible would have a real shot of working in the USA with a clean slate.

That says pretty much how I see things happning in every issue I see going on in this country. If somehow you had a slate with every issue written on it, What would you call a person that is willing to somehow just wipe the slate clean and start over, with only the bill of rights and the constitution in hand? When I refer to either one with an open mind, why is it I am always somehow refered (refered isn't exataly the right word) to the Holy Bible? I know why. As food for thought , have you ever ask yourself that verry question and gave it a honest long thoght? A honest person with a blank mind the orginal Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Holy Bible in hand, and the power to start it all over. How many bussiness and politicans even citizens, would survive? What would this country look like after that were to happen? lets look at this from another way. I ask what would happen to someone in a higher ring of society than me lets say someone like Rush or some politican who would seriously ask or refer to these same questions and implications?... Mabe I am an idiot to think along those lines, but, I am just a dumba$$ ole redneck....

Don't worry though, in California they have the remedy. They will teach that Susie has two mommies, and Bruce has two daddies to go along with the insane use of judgement (or lack thereof) that was described in the article. Even if it's a chain email, it makes a valid point. That's all that really matters.
