Busting Up the Two Party System: For the Presidential Election 2012? Why not NOW?

History shows that precedent is followed until someone dares to stand up against the status quo.  Barack Obama became the forty-fourth President of the United States of America because some Americans dared to go against the status quo, and they voted for someone whose father was of African descent to become leader of the free world.  Even though that event may have had more to do with his race than the principles that he actually stood for and believed in, it still can be viewed as a positive that another glass ceiling in American history was broken.  Sadly though, the person that broke through that glass ceiling, Barack Hussein Obama, has a Marxist ideology and is trying to "dismantle, brick by brick", the American Dream.  It was made clear by Mr. Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign that he believes in the re-distribution of wealth as evidenced by his conversation with Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a. Joe the Plumber) at a Town Hall session in Toledo, Ohio.  (Video uploaded by AssociatedPress @ YouTube.com)

For those who truly believe in the American Dream, a dream in which hard work pays off for those who are willing to go the extra mile, a Democratic Party that endorses this Marxist philosophy and has countless ties to organized labor and communism, waffles over whether God should have a place in their party platform, openly endorses the butchery of abortion, and embraces the immoral practice of homosexuality, clearly is not a realistic part of that dream. It's more part of a vision of how to dismantle and destroy this country so thoroughly that it could not ever possibly recover.

For  many years, conservatives have been loyal to the Republican party.  It has long been considered to be the party that more fiscally responsible, and adheres to Biblical principles. However, a closer examination of the facts reveals that's not actually the case either.  Using a drug and alcohol dependency analogy for Democrat party vs. Republican party is a good way to explain the situation.  On both fiscal and moral grounds, the Democrats are black tar heroin. Their philosophy and general way of running things are sure to bring about quick ruin, destruction, and death.  However, the outlook of the Republican Party is not much better. They could be compared to Budweiser. If you stick with them long enough, they will also bring about ruin, destruction, and death. It's just that they have the road to destruction set on cruise control and it's moving along a little slower than the Democratic racecar to Hell.

According to Kathryn Smith and David Nather at politico.com,in Planned Bullyhood, a book by Karen Handel, who is the former vice president at Susan G. Komen for the Cure alleges that Republican party political adviser Karl Rove told the charity to reverse its decision to end its cancer screening funding of Planned Parenthood. Given the power wielded by Mr. Rove in helping determine who gets funding within the Republican party, the trust of the pro-life constituency for the party establishment is tenuous at best. Not only does Mr. Rove fail to reflect the views of religious conservatives, he also did something so inexcusable that it warrants his removal from Fox News as a commentator.  He joked to a small group of fundraisers that sitting U.S. Congressman and United States Senatorial candidate Todd Akin should be 'murdered'.  Karl Rove has withheld Republican National Committee funds that will be critical to Mr. Akin down the October stretch of election season. He is undercutting Mr. Akin's chances at winning, just as he did those of conservatives Christine O'Donnell of Delaware and Sharon Angle of Nevada, and Joe Miller of Alaska in 2010 U.S. Senatorial races.  According to Joseph Farah, Chief Editor and founder of World Net Daily, Karl Rove "didn’t support their bids to win because they weren’t his favorites to win the nomination – just as Todd Akin wasn’t his choice."

"Karl Rove and Haley Barbour have said things about his (Todd Akin's) character that are untrue", said Dr. James Dobson founder and president of Family Talk, “I regret to say that Congressman Akin has been subjected to disgraceful treatment at the hands of the GOP political bosses,” he added.

Another issue that makes pro-life conservatives queazy is Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's evolving position on abortion.  In an August 27 cbsnews.com article by Scott Pelley reporting his interview of Mr Romney on the CBS Evening News, Pelley quotes Mr. Romney as saying, ""My position has been clear throughout this campaign," Romney said. "I'm in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother."  Although many conservatives might even consider that position a reasonable one, there are more concerns than just that position. For example, Mitt Romney was responsible for the designing the current healthcare system in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts popularly labeled as "RomneyCare" which is terribly similar to ObamaCare but even worse for it openly funds all abortions, on demand.  According to ProLifeProfiles.com, as Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney  put Planned Parenthood on the so-called "independent" board he created that offers $50 co-pay abortions.  Also, according to Will Saletan@slate.com, as recently as December of 2011 Romney has publicly used pro-choice language.

Romney told Bill O’Reilly: “I thought, ‘Well, I can say and can understand the idea of leaving the law the way it is. The Supreme Court has made its decision. I'm just going to say I will support the law and preserve the law as it exists.’" That is a statement that is hardly comfort for pro-life advocates seeking a presidential candidate with a steadfast and grounded position in protecting the unborn.  Mitt Romney's actions regarding the homosexual agenda is equally troubling.  Romney has some powerful fundraising muscle from supporters of gay rights. According to Gloria Goodale at The Christian Science Monitor, One of Romney's largest bundlers is billionaire hedge-fund manager Paul Singer, who helped him raise $5 million at one event in May. Mr. Singer has also given $10 million to gay-rights advocacy and pledged $1 million to launch a political-action committee called American Unity to encourage GOP candidates to support same-sex marriage.  With positions and actions like this, Christian conservatives can hardly be encouraged by the Republican nomination of Mitt Romney for President of the United States of America.

According to ThePoliticalGuide.com, Gary Johnson, candidate of , Libertarian Party gives Christian conservatives little hope for reform either. A conservative group in Iowa brought forth a marriage vow pledge, and requested that all of the Republican candidates for president sign it, Gary Johnson declined.  The ThePoliticalGuide.com, also reported Johnson's statement supporting gay marriage

given in December of 2011 that stated, "It is simply not feasible to change all laws relating to marriage to include civil unions. He referred to this viewpoint as a "cop out." He supports marriage equality (lib speak for homosexuals making a mockery of God's sacred union of a man and a woman) if the government is going to be involved. According to Tim Dickinson of The Rolling Stone via OnTheIssues.org, Gary Johnson said, "I support women's rights to choose up until viability of the fetus. I've supported the notion of parental notification. I've supported counseling and I've supported the notion that public funds not be used for abortions. But I don't want for a second to pretend that I have a better idea of how a woman should choose when it comes to this situation. Fundamentally this is a choice that a woman should have."  On the pro-life issue, Mr. Johnson chooses to play games with the definition of a "human being" and thus can not be trusted to protect the sanctity of human life.

Roseanne Barr of the Green, Peace and Freedom Party is in favor of gay marriage and supports abortion to remain legal according to VoteSmart.org.  Obviously, everyone knows where she stands on these issues, on the side of evil. A "third party" vote for Ms. Barr would keep America  on the path to moral destruction.

Tom Hoefling, candidate for America's party and the American Independent party states at his website TomHoefling.com that "the God-given institution of one man-one woman marriage and the natural family must be protected." Regarding abortion, Mr. Hoefling stated on April 7, 2011, "The Constitution's ultimate stated purpose is 'to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.' The founders put the rights of Posterity on an equal plane with their own rights, and with your rights. Abortion is fundamentally unconstitutional.

Mr. Hoefling  is the only candidate that supports Biblical principles in regard to the sanctity of life and the protection of traditional Holy marriage ordained by Jehovah, our mighty God. His philosophy on life couldn't be more simple or more clearheaded than the following statement that he made on May 7, 2012:  "Political life, and life in general, becomes so much easier and more effective when you resolve to simply do the right thing no matter what, leaving the results to God. Can you imagine what a change would be wrought in America if every person who calls themselves a Christian, or a conservative, or a pro-lifer, would do this?"

If enough Americans buck the traditional way of thinking and buck the two party system on November 6th, the USA could once again return to morality, prosperity, and true freedom. The chains of tyranny are clinking all around us. Return to true freedom involves following the agenda of the Lamb. It's time America did so in the voting booth.
