Christians Across the USA Protest Violation of Religious Freedom on Saturday, October 20

On Saturday, October 20, people of Judeo-Christian faith in 99 cities across the Nation met to stand up for religious freedom. According to Eric Schiedler at StandUpforReligiousFreedom.com, more than 24,000 people attended around the nation.  There were rallies in Kansas City,

"The federal contraceptive mandate cannot stand because it attempts to confine religion inside church walls – and that’s not what faith is about!!" speakers told the San Francisco rally at the Federal Building at Seventh and Mission streets reports Valerie Schmalz of Catholic San Francisco. "We enjoyed a beautiful fall day as we brought attention to the HHS Mandate’s infringement on our First Amendment.  We sang patriotic hymns and paid tribute to our veterans and service men and women.  Acknowledging  that we as American’s need to accept our responsibility for our country as well built momentum.  All of our actions make a difference!  All of our votes do count!"  Well said Jane, well said.
