Most of you know I have had the opportunity and privilege to work at times as a humanitarian photographer. I been doing it since Hurricane Katrina.

Well now we have a major humanitarian disaster in our backyard. The earthquake in Haiti was bad but I believe things are only going to get much worse. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Before the earthquake basic needs were still a difficult task. Now more than ever Haiti needs our help.

I encourage you to offer what you can to any organization you feel comfortable. There are plenty of them.

Here are organizations listed by Fox News and CNN
Fox News Links to Organizations
CNN Links to Organizations

There is also a humanitarian mission organization that has been operating in Haiti for many years. One of the founders, Sherry, is keeping her blog updated daily on what they are seeing.
I've posted information about her blog and a link here: Haiti - A Live Journal
Sherry's mission is called Love A Child and they are listed among CNN's organizations to give.

Please pray for the people of Haiti.

Regarding Haiti...Move everyone to Western Florida. Build a city here in America. Hire all the unemployed contractors. put people to work establish a police force and build a medical facility. this is what these people need. No future waste of money to rebuild Haiti, will never happen anyway. We still haven't finished up in New Orleans?!?!

More of the same. Gets excited like a baby when someone claps and jumps to campaign mode. this man is so far out of his league it is ridiculous. Seems to be being fed by his adopted mother Nancy Pelosi. and by the way what was so funny that Biden and Pelosi chuckled almost the whole time.
