As mentioned in Our Nation is at a Crossroads, there is an urgent need for America to turn to God in order to prevent it from following the path of destruction that Israel and Judah have traveled throughout history when they embraced wickedness.  There is a great revival that is starting to sweep America.  It had started to blossom with historic events such as the Chik-Fil-A Family Values Day.  Although there has been negativity from Satanic sources on the left, the forces of evil still appear to be no match for the power of the Holy Spirit that is beginning to sweep across this land. It began with the Glenn Beck related events "Restoring Freedom", "Under God Indivisible" and Restoring Love in the Dallas area. The overwhelming support by the Judeo-Christian community regarding family values helped fuel the setting of a world record sales day for the Chik-Fil-A restaurant chain.  This unity of faith could be felt by the thousands of believers who exited Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night, July 28th to engage the world with a spirit of hope and love destined to

roll over the United States in a revival like this nation has never seen. If The Harvest event at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA on Saturday night is any indication of what is still to come, then Christians should be encouraged as hundreds of people dedicated their lives to Jesus. Greg Laurie gave his message to thousands after a truly uplifting

performance of musical praise by Gungkor, Dave Crowder, and Third Day.  The core of Greg Laurie's message could be summed up by a story that he told near the end of his sermon.  He told the crowd about an auction of the estate of a deceased man that took place. At the beginning of the auction, the auctioneer started to auction off a water color painting that was painted by his son at a very young age. The auctioneer tried to start off the bid with $100, but no one would bid on the painting. The auctioneer explained that the man's will specifically said that nothing else could be auctioned off until the painting was sold first.  Finally, after no one bid on it, a neighbor offered a $50 bid for the painting. The auctioneer said, "Going once, going twice, SOLD for $50."  A person in the crowd anticipating the auction of the more valuable possessions yelled, "Finally, now let's get to the REAL auction." The auctioneer said, "That's it!! The auction is OVER!!" Several people yelled, "What are you talking about?" The auctioneer explained that the man had written in his will, that whoever bought his son's painting would inherit all of his other possessions.  He then said, "Without the SON, you can't have anything else" as it relates to eternity. He explained that our quest for material possessions and evil pleasure that provide instant gratification are all empty pursuits that lead to death and eternal damnation. Only a life filled with the Holy Spirit that dwells within us that can occur after our hearts have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus will truly give us happiness and purpose. In the end, hundreds walked to the altar on the diamond of Angels Stadium to embrace Christ's love and to begin a walk with Him that will completely transform their lives.

As people yield to Christ and allow Him to change their lives, God will take notice. He will keep his promise that He gave in 2 Chronicles 7:14: " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
