Today the open carry law, recently passed in my state (Oklahoma), has officially been put in place and I swear, I've never seen such panic and paranoia from the leftists here in my entire life. All of them are screaming mad, "we're back to the old west!", "great! now everybody is gonna go shooting up everybody else", "stupid gun toting inbreeds", etc., etc. 

Truthfully, the only thing that has changed here is the fact that those who have concealed carry licenses can now carry their firearms openly as well. That's all. I spent hours earlier debunking the paranoid myths being spread by the anti-gun crowd. 

Of course not a single one of them read the law they seem to hate so much. One person repeatedly refused to believe that the law still requires people to be trained just as they are when applying for a CCL. The sentiment is that just anybody can now buy a gun, slap it on their hip and walk around with a loaded weapon in public, proceeding to shoot anybody who dares upset them. 

I had to post links to the actual law and make them read it to shut them up. But even then, it's still not enough. To the left, guns = evil and there's no such thing as a responsible gun owner. It goes to show the lengths they will go to in order to get their way. 

Lie, deceive, falsify whatever they have to. The end justifies the means...right? Even when faced with indisputable facts, they plug their ears and refuse to listen. 

"I'm leaving the state", one of them said. Oh, well, please do then. Get the hell out! Go live in a place like Chicago, where nobody is allowed any licenses and yet, for some mysterious reason, they have some of the worst gun violence in the country. But...*gasp*...how can that be?! :-P 

Yes, socialists, please do leave and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
