For those who want to rail at the "conspiracy theorists", go ahead and stick your head back in the sand, because facts don't phase you anyway. However, for those who actually are alert and vigilant, Executive Order 13603, signed by President Barack Hussein Obama on March 16, 2012 allows the government to confiscate whatever they feel is needed to protect the security of the nation.  Section 201 of the document states that the President and Cabinet Department Heads have the authority to make the following allocations:  food, energy, health care, transportation, water, construction materials, and all other facilities and services.  In effect, this document has authorized the use of martial law and the abolition of private property rights. What is so alarming about this order is that it basically gives the federal government control over all resources, public and private, and is very ambiguous. The order states that it could be implemented during the "full spectrum of emergencies".  Loosely translated, that could mean, "whenever I, Muslim Barry feel the need to do so. Jim Powell at Forbes.com wrote that even if this were similar to executive orders issued by previous U.S. Presidents, "it's more worrisome because it was issued by the president who rammed Obamacare and runaway spending bills through Congress, who racked up 5 trillion dollars of debt and surrounded himself with hardcore 'progressives' hostile to the private sector and to America as we have known it." It appears that George Orwell's 1984 might just occur yet, only a few years late.
