Well, I just watched Martha Stewart on Bill O’Reilly give her two cents on Sarah Palin, from an interview that was done by a CNN correspondent. I, like other women turn to Ms. Stewart for help with decorating our holiday tables or how to throw the perfect dinner party. I was angry at first when I heard Ms. Stewart attempt to give a political view point, needless to say how painful and embarrassing it was watching Martha try to form a sentence that wasn’t from a cookbook or a teleprompter. “Sarah Palin is boring, dangerous, and confused; she doesn’t know what she is talking about.” Then when the correspondent asked her if she has watched any of her interviews her response was “I wouldn’t watch her if you paid me” always the charmer isn’t she. This coming from the woman who, not so long ago was in prison for insider trading??? Give me a break. Aside from the fact that she is obviously a C.O.L (change of life) victim the caddieness that oozed from her pores was totally gross.
Here is what I posted to the Martha Blog whether it will posted is a different story.
“I just wanted to say how very disappointed I am with your comment about Sarah Palin. I look to you for recipes not political commentary. You could only wish to be half the woman she is and what she has accomplished and she did it without going to jail for it. Why don't you go and give your daughter a hug and stick to the pies. You are on your way to alienating a good portion of your audience with your droll commentary. Leave the politics to the politicians.”
I don’t think I will be watching Martha anymore. Martha is the perfect example of the elitetist America at its most rotten. We watched her grow into this shell of a woman. We welcomed her back after she was in the big house. Her own daughter doesn’t really like her.
