The actions of President Obama with regard to unrest in the Middle East is troubling, to say the least.  His stance with regard to Arab relations with Israel often leaves the Jewish state scratching their heads, wondering if the United States with Barack Obama as the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces can be relied upon as a trusted ally. He favored a return of Israel to its pre-1967 borders, which literally would have made Israeli jet liners easy targets to be shot out of the sky as they attempted to land. President Obama's constant reference of the Islamic  uprisings in which Christians and Jews are being murdered as the "Arab Spring" is equally troubling. Imagine if Franklin Delano Roosevelt had referred to the murder of Jews in Germany and other parts of Europe before and during the Second World War as the "German Spring". President Obama's religious background associated with Hamas friendly Jeremiah Wright (July 22, 2007 Trinity Church of Christ bulletin reprinted Mousa Abu Mazook's "Hamas' Stand) for 20 years, coupled with such a strong endorsement of him by the Israeli media, one has to wonder why anyone of Jewish descent would vote for him, unless of course they have a death wish.

Of course, the fact that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has very close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't help to make one feel better about the policy of the Obama administration. Saleha Mahmood Abedin, mother of Clinton's Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, served as a delegate for the Muslim World League, an Islamic fundamentalist group that Osama Bin Laden reportedly told an associate was one of his most important charity fronts.

Attorney General Eric Holder doesn't exactly give reassurance that he is up to the task of defending the United States against Islamic terrorism either. In an appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, Holder refused to say the words "radical Islam".

This shouldn't be surprising that Mr. Holder would be reluctant to say this. The law firm Covington & Burling, at which he was a senior partner, represented 17 Yemeni terrorists that were housed at Guantanomo Bay in Cuba.  One of the 17 whom was released, blew himself up in a truck bombing in Mosul, Iraq in 2008. The explosion killed 13 soldiers from the 2nd Iraqi Army division and wounded 42 others.

Yes, Barack Obama was Commander-in-Chief when Osama Bin Laden received the justice that he deserved. However,  so many signs exist that our Commander-in-Chief is a foe of Israel rather than a friend, that one has to wonder where his true allegiance will fall if and when all out war erupts between Israel and the Arab nations.
