Our Nation is at a Crossroads
David Greenfield's article "There Ain't No Middle Ground" reminds me that the worst thing in the world to be is a "moderate" anything. In Revelations 3:16, Jesus tells us,"So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth."

The reality is that most people who take the conservative stance on a majority of issues, and perhaps take a liberal stance on a smaller amount of issues. (For instance, some whom may consider themselves conservative may have opposed the War in Iraq.) Also, there are times when one of the political parties will flip-flop on a particular issue because it is expedient at that moment in time to do so. However, standing up for God's Truth is never a gray area. For those who read The Holy Bible in combination with earnest prayer, and a sincere desire to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, there is no room for doubt about certain issues. There is no ambiguity about what God considers to be righteous in regard to sexual morality. Sexual relations are to be within the confines of a marriage between a man and a woman. Any act that takes place outside of those boundaries is not pleasing to God. 1 Corinthians 6:20 tells us, "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
Our nation may be in peril of experiencing God's wrath very soon if we as a people do not heed his warnings. The recent celebrations of gay pride day by the armed forces, and President Obama's recent public declaration that he supports gay marriage have placed the United States of America in uncharted moral (or lack thereof) territory. but they no longer allow prayer within the confines of campus (unless it's a non-Christian one, which probably is because Satan doesn't mind if you worship in a direction other than towards Jesus), and all symbols of Christianity displayed in any public arena are constantly under attack from every angle.
Joseph Farah and World Net Daily are trying to alert the American public that God's judgment may indeed be looming over America if we indeed don't change our immoral ways. In their DVD, "The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment", they say that there may be an indication that God has already given us a warning in the book of Isaiah as we are dooming ourselves by repeating history.
On September 11th, 2001, In the aftermath of the attack, the nation was stunned,” said Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. “Everyone was trying to make sense of what had happened – this unprecedented attack on America. The very next day, Sept. 12, then Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle presented America’s response to the world. And what did he say?”

Daschle said: “America will emerge from this tragedy as we have emerged from all adversity – united and strong. Nothing … nothing can replace the losses of those who have suffered. I know there is only the smallest measure of inspiration that can be taken from this devastation. But there is a passage in the Bible from Isaiah that speaks to all of us at times like this.”
He then went on to read Isaiah 9:10.
“Daschle has no idea what he is doing here,” explains Cahn. “He thinks he’s offering comforting words to a grief-stricken people, but he is actually embracing the spiritually defiant and arrogant words of the children of Israel, proclaiming the ancient and ominous vow of the leaders of that nation. He doesn’t realize it, but he is actually inviting more judgment on the nation.”
It might be of some significance that Daschle, one of the most powerful men in the nation when he spoke those words, later fell into disgrace – to the point where he couldn’t even serve in Barack Obama’s Cabinet.
Isaiah 9:10 says, "The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars."
In his book, The Isaiah 9:10 Judgement, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn said, These words were first uttered by leaders in Israel and in response to a limited strike by Assyria on the lands of Zebulun and Naphtali – an attack the prophet makes clear is actually part of a limited judgment by God against apostasy. It wasn’t meant to destroy the nation, but to awaken it, according to most commentaries.
But, says Cahn, Israel didn’t take the cue. Instead, the response from the people in Isaiah 9:10 is one of defiance. The brick buildings were toppled, but they vowed to build bigger and better. The little sycamore trees may have been uprooted, but they vowed to plant bigger and better cedars in their place. God, speaking through Isaiah explains what will happen as a result of their pride and arrogance and failure to heed the harbinger: Bigger and more potent attacks will follow. Because neither the northern kingdom of Israel or the southern kingdom of Judah truly repents, the first is eventually swept away by Assyrian invaders and the latter is carried off into captivity by the Babylonians for 70 years.
Eerily, on June 14, 2012, President Obama scrawled on the highest beam which will be placed on the new tower at Ground Zero, "We remember. We rebuild. We come back stronger!!" As if there weren't enough parallels already between the downfall of ancient Israel and the United States and the scripture Isaiah 9:10, there was actually a very famous sycamore tree felled in the attack on the World Trade Center. It was replaced by trees in the same genus as the cedar. There have been many plans made to rebuild the twin towers bigger and better and a large “hewn stone” was actually quarried out of the Adirondack Mountains in New York and brought to Ground Zero as a cornerstone.
America has been given fair warning. When God sent Jonah to Ninevah to tell them to stop their evil ways, or that he would destroy the city, they repented and God spared them. However he did not spare Israel and Judah when they defiantly shook their fist at God and said, "We will rebuild and be stronger than ever." The Hebrew people had forgotten that Jehovah was their source of strength to begin with. As a nation, We must recognize that only by following the will of the Father through obeying the Word of the Son and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, will we be a people that are pleasing to Him and whom to which He will grant His blessings.

WE must proclaim our goal of God's wisdom ruling our nation as a kingdom of God. God will supply the candidate.
God gives us what we want and what we are willing to fight for and sacrifice all for. This is a time for fearful disbelievers to remember the power and glory ahead. We dwell in a moment of time, and all eternity is our reward. Where will it be, with believers or disbelievers in the God of the whole earth? We must not wait for Christ, because he comes triumphant; he is waiting for us to open the door to our hearts and our nation. The goal is that the world would embrace God's government, His written wisdom in the whole Bible.Moral Issues: Following God's truth, or ignoring it. Letting our helpfulness be voluntary or forced. Worshiping the sinner, or the God who wants to turn the sinner to a better life. Approving killing our children for the sake of employment and fear, or trusting God will provide as promised.
Seeking a lifetime of jobs, insurances, and health care, or God's true freedom with good health.
