President Obama Attacks Capitalism Once Again

Once again, our Communist-In-Chief has taken a shot at capitalism and made his play for communism, or at best state-ism. In his mind, in order to give back, one must pay MORE TAXES.

Kerry Pickett at the Washington Times, reports that in a speech addressed to supporters in Roanoke Virgina on Friday President Obama said,

"There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me -- because they want to give something back.  They know they didn’t -- look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own.  You didn’t get there on your own.  I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart.  There are a lot of smart people out there.  It must be because I worked harder than everybody else.  Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there."

Here's a newsflash to our Fraud-in-Chief, those that work SMARTER, generally do make more money than those that work HARDER. More often than not, those who work HARDER and SMARTER have MORE SUCCESS. The President's assertion to the contrary parallels his Communist ideology, which is downright FOOLISH.

According to whitehouse.gov, the President also said,

Our goal isn’t just to put people back to work -- although that’s priority number one -- it is to build an economy where that work pays off.  An economy where everyone, whether you are starting a business or punching a clock, can see your hard work and responsibility rewarded.

What President Obama failed to say, is that if an individual makes more than $250,000 his or her efforts won't pay off as much. Even Democrats in the United States Senate recognize this, because according to Breitbart.com, just four days ago Senate Democrats blocked a vote on President Obama’s proposal to raise taxes on those earning more than $250,000 per year. Senate Republicans had suggested an immediate vote on the measure. Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said, "My recommendation is we give the President what he asked for." In typical Democrat speech detached from reality Senate majority leader Harry Reid replied,"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid then went on a nonsensical rant about how it was Republicans obstructing President Obama’s tax plan – even though they wanted to vote on it. “The program of the Republicans in the Senate has been to divert and deny and obstruct." HUH?  The REPUBLICANS wanted to vote on it.

He also falsely stated, "So if we spend trillions of dollars on more tax cuts mostly for the wealthy, that that’s somehow going to create jobs.." It's already been well documented that our President doesn't do well with numbers, because he said during his last campaign that he had been to all 57 of our states. Nevertheless, this more recent statement is even more of an indication of Obama's either huge propensity for hyperbole or lack of ability to comprehend basic mathematics. Just five days ago, Democratic candidate for United States Senator Elizabeth Warrensaid,..."Do not extend the Bush tax cuts on those earning more than $250,000 and return the estate tax rates to the 2009 level.  This would save $968 billion over ten years."

Later in his speech, the Washington Times quotes the President as saying, "The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together." That's not necessarily true either, because according to Money.cnn.com, roughly 45% of households, or about 69 million, will end up owing nothing in federal income tax, according to estimates by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center. If 45% are paying ZERO IN FEDERAL INCOME TAX, then we ARE NOT doing things together.
