Clearly, what transpired today at the DNC Convention in Charlotte, NC, casts more light on the extent to which Radical Islam has taken root within the Democratic Party.  Prior to today, Andrew C. McCarthy had documented extensive influence of the Muslim Brotherhood within the Obama Administration. Mr. McCarthy linked Hillary Clinton's Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin herself and her family to Abdullah Omar Naseef of the Saudi-financed Muslim World League, who manages the 'civilization jihad', or commitment to destroy western society from within. According to Mr. McCarthy, the MWL also engages in violent jihad. Coupled with the recent release of $1.5 billion to the Muslim Brotherhood, concern about the motives and loyalties of President Barack Obama.

Of course, the Islamic World hinges in an increasingly unstable state as the Sunni and Shia factions of Islam are at odds with one another in Syria. Iran's President Ahmadinejad relishes and encourages violence and instability in order to facilitate the return of the Imam al-Mahdi.  Equally alarming is the statement by Ayatollah Khameini of Iran, that his country would be at war "within weeks" that was made on August 1st. Given the graveness of the situation, giving

aid to a known enemy of the United States, even if it is to combat a common enemy, is not a good strategy. Common wisdom dictates that the Muslim Brotherhood/ Al Qaeda has already demonstrated their unreliability as an ally and should be treated as the foe that they are.
