A U.S. Congressman says notorious and bankrupt company Solyndra is still wasting tax payer dollars and costing Americans millions of dollars via the wasteful destruction of valuable assets and equipment.

“The Obama Administration’s rush to close the Solyndra loan guarantee and its failure to heed repeated red flags over Solyndra’s financial prospects has resulted in a taxpayer loss of $535 million,” said Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL), who is leading the Solyndra loan guarantee investigation as Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. “Incredibly, the White House is failing to minimize losses to the taxpayer who are still losing money from Solyndra.”

This is beyond outrageous, beyond the pale, and typifies, unfortunately the wasteful mentality that comes with the dispensing of someone else's money, in this case: Taxpayers.
