In an earlier post I noted the Mad magazine Spy vs Spy skit. The concept is when one spy gives a golden opportunity for the opposition spy to kill him. The spy that falls for the trap gets killed. I noted that Iran may have fallen for one of these traps in their acquisition of the centrifuges which may be junk. The recent arrest of a little Russian spy ring brings thoughts of a Spy vs Spy episode 2 to think about.
Spy vs Spy episode 2. The recent FBI arrest of Russian spies.
Notice the FBI was on their trail for years. Also the FBI asserts the spies did not get anything usefull. Also the FBI notes that the Russian spy operation was expensive. Scinarios of possible truths.
1. The Russians have many more spies operating than that small group so dumping of
one small one by turning them in just downloads the group. Whoever turned them in is a double agent.
2.. There is considerable more damage done to America by members of the Democratic (Communist) Party than any spy group ever assembled by the Russians. Thus dumping a small group makes the American public think the FBI is really on the job. Sure they try. But most of their spy catching is of counter spies in their own agency. Should we really assume this little Russian group that got nothing was a good catch?
3. There is only one usefull discovey of the spy group. One of them reportedly was working for Hispanic news. That one spoke in favor of illegal immigration and called us all racists. But again none of the news media focussed on that issue.
4. An example of the real world of Russian spies is when their computer experts broke into English computers to get the emails that exposed the fraud of the global warming hoax. That even establishes a higher level of work. The Russians helped us in that one. So ask why did the Peanut spy ring get busted?
