Greetings Great American Patriots!
A little over a week ago we launched the new website for The Conservative Underground. The website is a social network just for conservatives. In just those few short days we've gained some 800 members. A great start to rebuilding the conservative movement.
Many of you came from the facebook page created a few months ago. That page has grown to over 8,000 members. Facebook however does have limitations, therefore I created http://www.TCUnation.com. This site is for all of US.
I have received many emails regarding “What can I do” or “I am willing to help” which is great. We are answering them as fast possible and will certainly find a spot for those willing to jump in and help with the site. We also keep a “Help Wanted” section on the homepage.
There is more to The Conservative Underground than being just another social network. I started it so WE can begin rebuilding the conservative party. You say, well the GOP or Republican party is the party that stands for conservative principles. Generally yes, but we need to make sure the new leaders in the GOP will adhere to conservative principles. We must also stand in opposition to those who go against our principles. A tall order these days.
For me personally I am not excited about the outlook for our country. Just turn on the news! Even scarier, I have 3 children that will grow up in a country I am gravely concerned. This is why I created The Conservative Underground. I'm not perfect, can't recite history books and my spelling stinks. I'm just a regular American who's ready to get OUR country back.
You ask, “what can one person do?” Well, you are reading this along with 800+ other members from a site that didn't exist two weeks ago. This will also go out to 8,000 members on our facebook page only 3 months old. So from my little home office and a laptop I am reaching 8000+ people with a message.
There is strength in numbers. That is a powerful and true statement. We lost the election, but only by a small margin. Remember, 50+ million people voted for McCain. Actually this may be a positive, in that we can take the time to get our own party back on track!
So what can you do?
Pledge to recruit at least 5 people to join The Conservative Underground, explain our mission and encourage them to recruit 5 people.
That's all I am asking. I'll do the rest :-)
Just think if all 800 of you could recruit 5 people to join, and encourage those 5 to do the same. That's 20,000 members! One step further 100,000, then 500,000... You get the picture.
How long would it take to send an email telling a friend about TCU, five minutes? Isn't the future of our country and our children worth just a few minutes of your time? The time to act is now. We have a long road ahead but we do have time. Two years from now it will be too late.
The future of TCU? It's partly up to you. In my mind, this is the tip of the iceberg of where OUR site is headed. I have many plans for new content, activities, contest etc..., to help spread the conservative message. But I encourage you to jump in with your own talents and ideas.
We have almost two years before the next election. Let's not sit back, wait, and pull a lever and say we did our part. Our country has been there for us for over 200 years, now it's our turn to step up to the plate in her time of need. Trust me, the opposition is not going away and in fact seeks to silence anyone standing in their way.
WE are in this together.
THE time to act is now.
PEOPLE are the foundation for our country, not the government.

Congratulations Earl,
It's been less than a year and you have grown and continue to grow this site.
I surf the conservative wave of the web and have seen a lot of sites come and go. I contribute your success to your sincerity and that in return attracts your serious, concern membership. Again Congratulations and Thank You for all that you do for the Conservative movement.

What a blessing you are to all of us.... I promise to recruit as many friends as possible and to be informed as to what I can do to support this site and cause.... I also have 2 young children.... I want to see them enjoy the gifts that our Forefathers fought for....

This is from a combat veteran and man whose son and son-in-law were killed in Iraq. What a crock! Ooooh you have a lot of members. Just another way for someone else to polarize our great nation. Just let it go and give our new administration a chance. I have read all of the above responses and it's not hard to see why our wonderful country is in the shape it is. I guess if McBush would have won, and we were in worse shape, well that would be okay-because at least a republican won. BUT HE DIDN'T! Just try to let it go. We have had eight horrible years of leadership by cheney, rumsfeld, and w. Now, you just have to let it go and join the rest of us, (the majority), pull yourself out of your pity party, and work with our leaders to make our country even better.

So glad to have found you!! I think what you've started is fantastic and couldn't come at a better time. If anything is going to change in this country, it will have to come from this group & the folks dedicated wholeheartedly to its cause. There can be no fence-straddling, no wishy-washys, just downright serious Americans who are ready for change NOW. I'm definitely one of those. Number 1 issue with me right now is WHY IS MR.OBAMA STILL HOLDING THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE US? He was not born to 2 US citizens for parents, so according to the laws of our country, he is NOT ELIGIBLE to be holding that office. Period. Why are the courts delaying the hearings on these matters? Because he is BLACK, and they are SCARED of the BACKLASH if they uphold the longstanding laws of OUR country?? Someone needs to answer some very important questions.....????

I am so busy like a rat on a wheel trying to keep up with my mortgage (since it's been tripled) and while I'd like to add new members, my home and family come first. Although I am appalled at what's been happening ever since we got a President of hope in office; I just cringe every time I listen to the news (or Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck) because I think we are headed in the wrong direction quickly.
How about those bills that get passed before anyone reads them? This administration is downright dangerous.

Hello everyone... I am Patty Pruett = the RESIST-NET member and CONGRESSIONAL #2 DISTRICT COORDINATOR for the state of Nevad. I am also, a member of Glenn Becks original 912-project group... a few weeks after that website was getting thousands of members....my computer crashed. I was somehow unable to re-register under my name, and am NOT computer savvy enough to get myself back on the site. Anyway, I had also registered onto an original MEET-UP-GROUP - that was part of the 912 site, soon it was disbanned - however? ONE OF IT'S MEMBERS saved about 20 of the members e-mails.... re-contacted all of the members [including me] she saved and we RE-formed the meet-up group and have become GREAT FRIENDS... all of our members are HARD WORKERS in their efforts to research information regarding not ONLY PRESIDENT OBAMA - but many other unethical - and in some cases criminals who are seated in this admin and admins prior... (as stated by many - this is NOT ABOUT REPUBLICAN = DEMS.... it's about UNETHICAL MEMBERS OF OUR CONGRESS who make policy on both sides of the isle.) THERE IS SO MUCH MASSIVE CORRUPTION IN DC. and also in each of our own local political leaders in EACH STATE -- it is (MY PERSONAL OPINION ) We the people - need to get RID of all of the political leaders in EACH STATE - who have a voting record that GOES AGAINST THE FOUNDING FATHERS INTENTIONS -- IE. the Founding (intent) of the Founding Documents - period...
I HAVE CONTACTED THE NEVADA SECRETARY OF STATES OFFICE IN CARSON CITY NEVADA - and I have requested - OATHS OF OFFICE - with each signature of each NV. Congress member... THEY ARE READY FOR ME TO PICK UP THIS WEEK... [next I am going after the senators oaths - then law enforcement - INCLUDING JUDGES for the STATE OF NEVADA...
If any of you is from the state of Nevada - please contact me (IF YOU WOULD PERSONALLY LIKE or HAVE THE TIME TO HELP ME FINISH MY MISSION of gaining these oaths....by all state officials including - SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS FROM ALL NEVADA STATE DISTRITCS Please let me know ... they take an oath as well.

Thank You Earl for having a great site that some of us that can't blog or write, have a site we can read and keep up with the TRUE facts that are going on. We sure can't trust the news folks anymore... except foxnews. Like skipper Wallace said, we all need to stand up for what we believe in.
