Interestingly I just read an article by Tony Blankley on the daily Rasmussen Report that reflects Thomas Sowell's point of view. There is now a convergence of thought rising up from all quarters on this subject. The intellectuals who have influenced our societies globally have brought more destruction than benefits and, here in our nation the so called "specialists" are dictating policy in the board rooms, public school system, in the judicial system, in Congress and the Executive branch. Hence the Progressive agenda, the global save the environment agenda, the population control agenda, the UN agenda, food control agenda and health care agenda, the numbing political correctness agenda to name a few, have nearly succeeded in putting the Constitution and it's laws into the dust bin of history. And put all of us in mortal danger.
The agile word smithing of liberal commentators are an example of how far we have come. The divide between conservative and liberal thinkers collides on this one dramatic reality. As usual, the intellectuals infiltrate the ranks of those in power with strategies and goals to fulfill their own ambitious dreams and as a consequence we the people listen to their PC dribble and can't really hear what they are saying because it makes no sense. They drone on and tune us out.
The emails out of the British Research lab on environmental studies reveals to us how endemic the takeover has become. So much for Cap and Trade. The Fort Hood shootings are a direct consequence of the intellectual idea that diversity and tolerance trumps security. The idea that distribution of wealth is fair and virtuous is a direct offense to the Constitution and Capitalism, the two things that made us sovereign, free and prosperous.
The idea that we should be ashamed of ourselves is another intellectual plot against common sense and I might add, the attack on Christianity and the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman. Also, the idea that it's OK to forget our duties, decorum, honor and sacrifice in the name of some amorphous collective environmentally sustainable, politically correct planetary ghetto where no one can escape an idea, let's say communism, enforced by a few corrupt tyrannical controllers of our resources and the fruits of our labors. How horribly unConstitutional. And we are very close to adhering to the intellectual's play book. The grid is in place. Are you ready?
