I suppose from what we've learned from Mona Eltahawy (the journalist who spray painted the anti-Jihad posters in NY) and now this woman with the username "abslovepink" and her friend Jade, vandalism is apparently ok, as long as it's done to people on the right of the political spectrum.

According to her twitter account, she goes to Illinois State University. So, hello? Police? Are you paying attention? Perhaps not. Illinois is after all, arguably the most corrupt state in the union, so it wouldn't surprise me if they never charged this person with a crime, even if they had all of her information and a video of her vandalizing somebody else's property.

My question is, do you think this would be allowed to slide if somebody snapped a pic of themselves giving the middle finger to Obama and his supporters after ripping a bumper sticker of his off of a "random car." I think not.

And for your information, Miss Abslovepink, it's not a "random car." It's a car that belongs to an actual person. A person who just happens to have a different opinion than you. There is a lot about both candidates I do not agree with but I would never strip their supporters of their right to free speech. Even if that speech supported somebody in the Nazi party, I don't have the right to destroy their personal property because I don't like them.

But I imagine any Obama supporters reading this are most likely scoffing and couldn't care less.

So, stay classy, progressives.
